BMW FEM/BDC Add Key and All Keys Lost using CGDI BMW Pro

Here comes the guide on BMW FEM/BDC programming via CGDI BMW Prog and CG100.And in this guide,you will get the skills of BMW FEM/BDC new keys adding and all keys lost.Hope this guide will give you a hand!Let jump right in!

Common Operations:

Open the car door,then connect the BMW CGDI Prog to vehicle OBD port.

Note:The vehicle maintains voltage above 12V,do not turn off the computer screen during operation.

Enter the CGDI BMW Prog software menu to select “FEM/BDC Key Match”

The current FEM/BDC need to update the ECU program before performing key matching.Please ensure that car battery has enough power,the programming process,please keep the epuipment cable connection.

Dissemble the FEM/BDC module and read EEPROM data from 95128 chip.

Locate the FEM/BDC location

Remove the 95128 chip

Remove the 95128 chip and weld it on the ATMEGA adapter

Run the CG100 to read out the EEPROM data and save it on your laptop.

Go back to CGDI BMW Prog software and load the eeprom data read out by CG100 just now.

After loading successfully,save the new data generated the system

Write the new data generated by system back and weld it back to FEM/BDC module,then click “Next”

Wait for programming completed.

After programming finishing,write back 95128 original data,re-install the FEM/BDC module back to vehicle,and click next.

Use CG100 to write back 95128 original data

After finishing,click “Next”

Then after setting code successfully,you can do the add keys and all key lost programming operations.

Adding New Keys:

Choose the unused key position,and click “Generate dealer key”

Reading working key,click “Next”

After reading finishing,it will show the massage as below:

For BMW FEM/BDC All Key Lost Programming

Use CG100 Programmer to read out the engine data

Click ECU

Click on the engine model option to enter the current vehicle

According to the wire harness connection diagram to wiring diagram wiring

Click “Read EEPROM”

After reading the data,save it on your laptop

Then it will show the vehicle’s ISN and VIN as below

Return to the CGDI software,select unused key bits,and click generate dealer keys

Click on the next item that you select and click next(Manually input known ISN)

Check the information and click “OK”

Place the new key closed to the ignition coil

Then CGDI BMW Programmer software will prompt you new key programming successfully.
