Autel MD808 Pro Diagnose & Reset VW Golf Check Engine Light

This post show the easy step-by-step guide on how to use Autel MD808 Pro to reset check engine light for VW Golf.

On the dashboard,as you can see here check engine light on.

Procedures:

Enter the Autel MD808 Pro menu,select “Scan”–>Tap “OK” button.

Select “European”

Select “VW”

Then the Autel MaxiDiag MD808 Pro will communicate to vehicle,it will take approximately 15 second.

It prompt “Establishing vehicles communications,please wait…”

Select “Control Unit”

Select “Common”

We go to zero one “Engine”

System data initializing…please wait

Then select “Read Codes”

It is giving us a DTC:00256:Mass or Volume Airflow Circuit

Now please solved the problem that trigger the trouble code before erase code.

After you solving the problem,follow following operation to erase the trouble code.

Go back to select “Erase codes”

Follow the guide to ignition on and engine off,then tap ” Yes”

Then it will prompt that “DTCs and Freeze data will lost.Do you want to continue?”

Select “Yes”

Then the check engine light will disappear.

Done!
